2nd part of September Holidays

The school holidays are finally over. Luckily I still managed to have some interesting events to tell. First, I went to Changi Airport for lunch, then proceed to Sentosa after lunch. I only visited the Underwater World and played the Luge at the Sentosa. After that I visited the Singapore Flyer and bought some T-shirts there.

Tonight I have to go to bed earlier as tomorrow is the 1st day of the new school term

1st part of September holidays

School holidays are finally here and I can finally relax. So far, I have been going for swimming lessons, attending tuition lessons and doing my school holiday homework. Everything has been boring, nothing interesting. Hopefully for the next few days, it will be more interesting.

Thought of the day

Yesterday I went for the Maths Olympiad test 30 minutes late. Although it was stated in the letter the test start at 2pm, it started at 1.30pm. I think they announced it during assembly but I didn't pay attention. When I reached the test venue, they were already doing the test but luckily they was still on the first few questions and I managed to complete the test on time.

This incident has taught me to listen to announcement carefully otherwise I may miss out something very important, and things could go very wrong.

I am thankful !!

I am thankful that I lived in a developed country like Singapore. Unlike other third world countries like Blangadesh, as they have no air-con, no proper teaching facilities, no much food to eat and live in a very poor environment.

We here living in Singapore can enjoy many privileges such as good education system, many leisure resorts like Sentosa, Flyer, etc. We are also able to use handphone. During their free time, they are not able to go cinemas for shows or MacDonald for meals.

So we should be thankful we lived in Singapore.

NE show

Sorry this is a late post. But there is alot to talk about on the NE show.

First of all, I was surprised when Gurmit Singh was not there. I saw him in last year NDP show.

Secondly, we were all drenched from head to toe due to the heavy downpour. However, my phone was not busted like all my friends. I was still able to call my mother to bring me some dry clothes.

Thirdly, I like hearing the gossips on the bus on the way back to school.

Lastly, I enjoyed watching the NE show very much even though is was pouring like cats and dogs.

World hunger

There are many people in the world who are dying of hunger each day. Most of them are children and there are about 25,000 victims of hunger world-wide. The children mostly are from the less developed countries. They are so skinny that you can even see their bones. They get their food from leftover food. I hope people around the world will realise these hungry people's needs and will not waste their food.

I wish I can help them by donating some of my food.

What I did in Week 4 weekends of the June holidays

On this last Sunday of my June holidays, I managed to wake up early to go to the stadium for my run. It was much earlier and the Japanese children were not there yet. I had a good run and I completed the 4 rounds in just 13 minutes. Just as I was about to leave, the children started coming in.

On Sunday night, I went to bed early to be able to wake up on time the next morning so as not be late for school. I can't wait to go back to school to play with my friends.
